Patience "Patty" (Moore) Dauer

Patience 'Patty' (Moore) Dauer Zelienople Patience "Patty" (Moore) Dauer, 87, of Zelienople, formerly of New Brighton, passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2018, at Passavant Retirement Community, Zelienople. Born November 5, 1930, in Beaver Falls, a daughter of the late Alfred G. and Lillian (Swadling) Moore. She attended the Beaver Valley School of Nursing and worked at the former New Brighton Hospital and retired from the American Red Cross. She was a member of the Seaman Chapel at Passavant. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph A. Dauer on November 24, 2014, two sisters, Doris Cribbs and Phyllia Tang, and one brother Leroy Moore. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, William and Linda Dauer, Milford, Pa., three grandchildren, Wesley (Alyssa) Dauer, Spencer (Jamie) Dauer and Rachel (Jake) Stevens; two great grandchildren, William and Emily Dauer; a brother Alfred "Rivets" (Cathy) Moore, Lakewood, Fla., two sisters, Melva Jean Kulik, Beaver Falls, Judy Hargrove, Lakewood, Fla., a sister-in-law, Thelma (Dauer) Edwards, Leesburg, Fla.; several nieces, nephews and their families. Friends will be received Sunday from 3 p. m. to 6 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com, where a funeral service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Susie Esseck and Rev. Wilford Goetz officiating. Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester. In lieu of flowers, the family wish donations be made in her name to either, the Passavant Retirement Community, 105 Burgess Dr., Zelienople, PA 16063, or American Red Cross, 133 Friendship Cr., Beaver, PA 15009.
