Patricia A. (Harshbarger) Cooper

Patricia A. (Harshbarger) Cooper, 75, of North Sewickley Twp., went to be with her Lord on Saturday, February 11, 2017, at Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver.
She was born February 26, 1941, in Mapleton Depot, Pa., a daughter of the late Clark and Dora (Edminston) Harshbarger. Patricia and her husband were the owners and operators of the Beaver Valley Cash Register store in Bridgewater. She was a member of O.E.S., the United Commercial Travelers and the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of New Brighton. Patricia was an avid sports fan following all sports from high school to professional. Patricia's family and all who knew her were blessed by her loving kindness.
Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Ronald W. Cooper Sr.; one daughter and son-in-law, Rachel and Steve Shrum, Brooklyn, Ohio; one son and daughter-in-law, Ronald Jr. and Heather Cooper, Zelienople; two granddaughters, Amanda and Stephanie Shrum; one brother, Rev. Edward Harshbarger; one sister, Marcia (Fred) Brandenburg; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Martha Blessing and Julia Finkle, and one brother, Art Harshbarger.
Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com. On Wednesday friends will be received from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. in the
Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 10th Ave., New Brighton, with the Rev. Frank Kantz officiating.
Cremation will take place after the service.
