Patricia Ann 'Patti' (Mooney) Rae

Patricia Ann "Patti" (Mooney) Rae, 74, of Pulaski Twp., passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2017, at home surrounded by her loved ones after a brave battle with cancer.
Patti was lovingly known around New Brighton as "Aunt Patti" and will be missed by all who knew her.
Born December 23, 1942, in Bridgewater, Pa., she was 1960 graduate of New Brighton High School. Patti was a hard-worker and held many jobs over the years most notably with Baden's Dairy, The American Red Cross, Providence Care, Rinaldi's Restaurant and Harvey Run Inn. The job she loved the most was with Rhodes Bus Company as an aide for special needs students.
Patti was preceded in death by her mother, Dora (Hollenbaugh) Michaels; father, Clay Mooney; sisters, Rita Camp and Bertha Bable, and brother, Donnie "George" Mooney.
Surviving are her husband of 42 years, Edgar; two daughters, Jill (Michael) Botinovch and Jodi (Jon) Hilliard; a son, Mark (Jennifer) Balderson, and three stepsons, Edward (Laurel) Rae, Don (Chari) Rae and Gary (Besty) Rae. Patti was also blessed with 14 grandchildren and one great-grandson. She is also survived by her stepmother, Mary Mooney; two brothers, Leroy "Fats" (Judy) Mooney and Byron Mooney, along with four sisters, Nancy (Robert) Schettig, Shirley Campbell, Mary Ann (Tim) O'Shea and Donna (Brad) Custer. Finally, she is survived by two brothers-in-law, Eugene (Linda) Rae and Daniel (Theresa) Rae, and two sisters-in-law, Esther (Zenie) O'Shea and Irma (Jack) Wurzel.
Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, October 27, 2017, at J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com. A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Christian Missionary Alliance Church, 4607 Rochester Rd., New Brighton.

A special thanks to those who cared for Patti particularly Dr. Lancaster, Dr. Gill, Dr. Tapyrik, Dr. Everhart and their staffs. Also, the wonderful caregivers at Good Samaritan Hospice and a very special thanks to her sister, Nancy, for her loving care and support.
