Patricia A. (Soisson) Young

Patricia A. (Soisson) Young Beaver Falls Patricia A. Young, 86, of Beaver Falls, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2018, at Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver. Born October 14, 1931, in Rochester, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Carl and Ethel (Beemer) Soisson.  She was a member of the Beaver Valley Peacemakers, volunteered for Meals on Wheels in Rochester, and loved to travel and sing hymns.  She was a member of Marion Hill Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, New Brighton, where she taught Sunday school.  Patricia was a retired receptionist for Attorney Ray in Beaver. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Carl Jr. and his wife Jean, William and his wife Patsy, Richard and his wife Connie, and Harry Soisson; one sister, Elizabeth Poerschkey and her husband Carl; two sisters-in-law, Cheryl and Blanche Soisson; and one brother-in-law, Jim Miller. Surviving are her loving husband of 62 years, Lawrence E. Young;  son, Lawrence A. (Lisa Marie) Young, Midland; daughter, Tamara (Dan) Goehring, North Sewickley; four grandchildren, Marissa Young, Joseph Goehring, Stacy (Justin) Sanders and Shannon (Justin) Geisse; three great-grandchildren, Justin, Allison, and Abby; two brothers, Robert Soisson, Akron, Ohio, and Michael Soisson, Brighton Twp.; two sisters, Margaret Miller and Amy (Dennis) Thompson, both of Beaver; and numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Friends will be received Wednesday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com.  Thursday friends will be received in the Marion Hill Christian Missionary Alliance Church, Rochester Rd., New Brighton, from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. with the Rev. James Krouse officiating. Private interment will take place in Sylvania Memorial Park, Rochester. []​
