Patricia M. Welsh, 86, of Daugherty Twp., passed away Saturday, October 10, 2026.

Born February 2, 1940 in Beaver Falls, she is the daughter of the late Emil and Mary (Terek) Slovak. Patricia was a loving and devoted woman whose life was filled with family, cherished memories, and the simple joys that made each day special. She will be remembered for her kind heart, the love she shared with those around her, and the special place she held in the hearts of her family. Throughout her working years, she served as a secretary for Strayer Coin Bag and also worked for the Rochester Sewer Authority. She took pride in her work and in the life, she built along the way.

She enjoyed many hobbies and interests that brought her happiness. She was a devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fan who loved cheering on her favorite team. She enjoyed collecting ceramic angels, playing cards, sewing, and camping, creating many wonderful memories through the activities she loved. Above all else, her greatest joy was her family. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of her life, and she treasured every moment spent with them. The love she had for them was immeasurable, and the memories they shared will remain a lasting part of her legacy. She was Baptist by faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Ray Welsh and a great granddaughter, Faith.

Patricia is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Raymond Welsh; brother, Ron Slovak, New Stanton, Pa., three sons, Ron (Donna) Welsh, Apollo Beach, Fl., Carey Welsh, Chippewa Twp., Craig Welsh, Pittsburgh, Pa., daughter-in-law; Lydia Welsh, four grandchildren, Mike (Beth) Welsh, Raeann (Lindsey) Varner, Bobbie Sue (Luke) Freed, Rebecca (Matthew) Mangold; great grandchildren, Alexis, Trisha, Hannah, Lindsay, Bella, Sarah, Danni, and Daniel.

As difficult as it is to say goodbye, we find comfort in knowing that Mom is now at peace. I like to imagine her surrounded by angels, free from pain and suffering, and watching over all of us.

Mom, thank you for the memories, the love, and the years we were blessed to have you in our lives. You will always be a part of us, and you will never be forgotten.

Rest peacefully, Mom. Until we meet again. You will be loved forever and missed more than words can say.

All services will be private.

The family would like to thank all the nurses and aides at Providence Health and Rehab Center 3rd floor Dementia Unit, for their loving care over the years.
