Paul J. Geruschat, 50, of New Brighton, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at his home.
Born March 3, 1964 in McKeesport, he was a son of Paul N. and Leanore (Cornell) Geruschat of New Brighton. Paul known to many worked at F.C. Skate & Bait Shop in New Brighton. He attended Beaver Falls schools and still volunteered for the Beaver Falls football teams. Paul enjoyed playing hockey and watching professional hockey.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are two daughters, Jeanette Sisco, New Martinsville, WV and Courtney Geruschat; one granddaughter, Jadyn; one brother and sister-in-law, Dale and Alison Geruschat, Monaca; one sister, Donna DeSanzo, New Brighton; a brother-in-law, Bill DeSanzo, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, James and Frances Cornell and paternal grandparents, Paul and Evelyn Geruschat.
Friends will be received Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. until time of funeral service at 7 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, ww.jjsprattfh.com, with the Rev. Douglas E. Rabe and the Rev. Collene M. Carney, officiating.
Interment will be private.
