Paul E. ‘Rooster’ Henn

Paul E. Henn, 79, of Pulaski Twp., passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at home, surrounded by his loving family.

Born August 18, 1932 in New Brighton, he was the son of the late Frank and Catherine (Stahl) Henn. Paul graduated from New Brighton Area High School in 1951 and then served in the U.S. Army with the 6th Armored Division in Korea. Paul was retired from St. Joseph Zinc Corporation, Monaca; a member of the First Congregational Church, Beaver Falls; a volunteer at the Festival of Trees, and a volunteer at the New Brighton Soup Kitchen. He was a past honoree of the New Brighton PTA and was a member of the Beaver Falls Turners, and St. Joseph Zinc and the Pokers Team bowling leagues. Paul was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins fan and loved to golf and fish.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Frank, John, Joseph and Valentine Henn, and a sister, Margaret “Marge” Bendekovic.

Surviving are his loving wife of 59 years, Mable C. (Reynolds) Henn; a son and daughter-in-law, Mark (Robin) Henn, Palm City, FL; three daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie (James) Cutshall, Darlington; Paula (Douglas) Wagurak, New Brighton, and Trina (Kevin) Bolland, New Brighton; a sister, Elizabeth Demko; twelve grandchildren, Jordan, Justin, Quinten, Kalib and Hali Wagurak, Deric (Chelsea) Bolland, Zachary Bolland, Jamie and Christopher Cutshall, and Cory, Cody and Casey Henn; one great-granddaughter, Alexia Wagurak, and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and their families.

Friends will be received Sunday from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com, where a service will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Rev. Donald W. MacNeil and Rev. Jim Trusel will officiate.

Burial will take place in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.

The Beaver County Special Unit will meet in the funeral home Monday at 11:15 a.m. to provide full military rites.
