Pearl (Fijewski) Meronski Yaria, 86, of Vanport, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at her home.
Pearl (Fijewski) Meronski Yaria, 86, of Vanport, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at her home.
Born March 11, 1925 in Ambridge, a daughter of the late Felix and Veronica Fijewski, she had been a dedicated homemaker.
Surviving are her second husband, Joseph Yaria, whom she married November 18, 1986; one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Carolyn Meronski, Beaver; one daughter, Monica Jones, Beaver Falls; one grandson, Thomas Michael Jones, Beaver Falls; since 1986 she has had three adult stepsons, Joseph and his wife Sandy Yaria, Brighton Twp., Michael and his wife Denise Yaria, North Sewickley Twp., David Yaria, New Brighton, their families, and many nieces, nephews and their families.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Michael Meronski, in March 1981; four brothers, Adam, Edward, Henry "Rocky" and Richard, and three sisters, Mary, Laura and Irene.
As per her wishes, there will be no visitation or service.
Private interment will take place in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester.
