Rebecca L. (Mohrbacher) Retzer, 73, of Unionville, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospice Beaver.
Born April 11, 1941 in New Brighton a daughter of the late Howard G. and Iona Ruth (Rosensteel) Mohrbacher, she was a devoted homemaker who enjoyed her card club of 40 years and ceramics. She volunteered a bus matron for a number of years and loved all animals. She was a member of the Unionville United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband of 41 years, Dennis D. Retzer; three daughters, Lisa (Glen) Willis, Eastvale; Michelle Davidson, Unionville, and Melanie (Jeffrey) Fields, Klamath Falls, OR; one grandson, Tyler Davidson; two granddaughters, Lauren and Ashton Fields; one sister, Donna (Elder) Landis, Unionville; one brother, Howard (Darcel) Mohrbacher, New Brighton, and several nieces, nephews and their families.
Friends will be received Friday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com. Saturday friends will be received from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. in the Unionville United Methodist Church, 1299 Rt. 68, Unionville, with the Rev. Doug Myers officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorials be made in her name to the Unionville United Methodist Church.
