Robert L. "Bob" Harker Jr., 54, of New Brighton, passed away unexpectedly Friday, October 3, 2014 at work in Patterson Heights.
Born June 8, 1960 in Beaver Falls a son of the late Robert L. Sr. and Donna (Whitsler) Harker. He was head supervisor for Patterson Heights street department. Bob was a member of H.O.G.S. and the Rochester Fireman's Club. He was an avid hunter, enjoyed riding his Harley and playing with his dogs.
Surviving are his fiancée, Joanne Vrabel and her son, Zack Vrabel; three sisters, Wendy (Louis Little) Harker, West Mayfield; Denise (Pete) Sabella, New Brighton; Emmie Harker, New Brighton; nieces, Theresa (Loyd) Fowler, Tracy (Jake) Mineard and Arlena Harker; nephew, Pete (Shelby) Sabella; great-nephews, Caden and Caleb; great-niece, Raelyn, and many friends.
Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com, where funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Bill Blume, officiating.
Private interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Beaver Falls.
