Robert L. Gross, 79, of Coraopolis, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Heritage Valley Beaver.
Born September 13, 1936, in Sewickley, a son of the late Adolph and Betty (Davis) Gross. He served in the U.S. Army from 1956 to 1959. He worked as a union tile mechanic and worked on ships. Bob loved playing golf. He was a big Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers fan always rooting them on with his buddy George.
He was preceded in death by his wife who he married in 1959, Beth (Murry) Gross and died in 1970 and one son, Robert Eugen Gross.
Surviving are four children, Sharon (Gross) Richards, Orange, CA; and Tracy (Gross) Blair, Costa Mesa, CA; Karen (Gross) Martz, Norwalk, CA; Kevin Gross, Stanton, CA; five grandchildren, Sara Beth, Richard, Emily, Taylor and Bailey; one brother, Allan (Ruth) Gross, Aliquippa; three sisters, Lavonda (Arthur) Roppo, Baden; Patricia (Thomas) Petro, Crescent, and Donna Buss, New Brighton, many nieces, nephews and their families.
At his request there will be no services.
