Roger L. Cotterman, 65, of New Brighton, passed away Monday August 24, 2015 at his home after a long battle with A.M.L.
Born April 21, 1950 in Clarion a son of the late Harold C. ”Sam” and Ethel (Miller) Cotterman. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving with the U.S. Army and was a retired steelworker from Keystone Profiles, Beaver Falls. He was now working for Hosetter’s Auctioneers. He liked fishing and the outdoors and was an avid Steeler fan. He loved his family, hated A.M.L. and was a member of the Victory Heights U.B. Church of Franklin.
Surviving are his wife of 24 years Diana (Long) Cotterman, one son John (Kelli) Cotterman, Industry, one daughter Angie (John) Jojola, Beaver Falls, eight grandchildren, several great grandchildren, four brothers, three sisters, many nieces, nephews and their families.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
At his request there will be now viewing.
The family will friends Saturday September 5, 2015 from Noon until time of Memorial Service at 1:00pm at Brady’s Run Park, Pavilion #7, with Pastor Steve Henry of Victory Heights U.B. Church officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family wish memorial be made in his name to either V.V.A. #862, c/o Lee Corfield, 140 Knob Vue Dr., Freedom, PA 15042 or Ride for the Vets, c/o Parker VFW #7073, P.O. Box 353, Parker, PA 16049.
Vietnam Veterans of America, #862 will conduct military honors after the service.
