Ronald W. "Ronnie" Welsh, 81, of Monaca, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2016, at Heritage Valley Beaver.
Born June 20, 1934, in Koppel, a son of the late Lloyd W. and Laura (Needham) Welsh. He was a retired owner/operator and was a member of the W. PA Teamsters Local #261. Ronnie's love of his current job at McCarter's Coach Tours has taken him to many casino's and cities far and wide. He was a member of the North Branch Presbyterian Church, Center Twp. and was currently attending Faith Community United Methodist Church, Rochester. He was also a member of the Center at the Mall.
Surviving are his wife, whom he married Friday the 13th of August 1982, Karen (Rimer) Welsh,; two daughters, Deborah (Frank) Mangelli, Chippewa Twp. and Catherine Danylo, Ellwood City; one son, Russell (Cheryl) Welsh, Phoenix, AZ; stepdaughter, Leslie Flara, W. Aliquippa; four grandchildren, Jeremy Danylo, Michael Mangelli, Lindsey (Jim) Kelly and Niki Welsh; two step grandchildren, Joseph Flara and Hiliarie Flara. We are also honored to have Rob and Shannon Feist as part of our family; great-grandchildren, Emily, Connor and Christian Feist, Vivian Flara and Isabella Kelly; a sister-in-law, Marion Welsh, Chambersburg, PA, many nieces, nephews and their families.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Justin Danylo; a granddaughter, Rachel Danylo; a brother, Willard Welsh, and a sister, Louise Davis.
Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com, and Tuesday from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Donald Dotterer officiating.
Interment will follow in Clinton Cemetery, Wampum.
