Sara (Hardy) Spickerman
Sara (Hardy) Spickerman, 83, of New Brighton, passed away Monday, November 5, 2012 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Born September 28, 1929 in New Brighton, she was a daughter of the late William and Caroline (Feit) Hardy. She was retired from The Medical Center, Beaver, and was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of New Brighton.
Surviving are her four children, Susan Spickerman, New Brighton; Paul and Deborah Spickerman, Vero Beach, FL; Kurt and Stephanie Morrow Spickerman, Brighton Twp., and Patricia Spickerman, New Brighton; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Shirley "Pat" and Glenn Wilson, Cheswick, PA; Linda and Stan Sheets, Rochester, and Carolyn Hromika, Daugherty Twp.; one brother and sister-in-law, William and Ginger Hardy, Beaver Falls; numerous nieces, nephews and a special friend, Mary Corless, New Brighton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Paul Anthony Spickerman, and a brother-in-law, Robert Hromika.
There will be no viewing, however, friends will be received Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11 a.m. in the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1001 10th Avenue, New Brighton, with the Rev. William B. Henry officiating.
The family wishes memorials be made in her name to either the church or Grove Cemetery, 1750 Valley Avenue, New Brighton, PA 15066.
