Sarah (Borkovic) Ferketich
Sarah Ferketich, 83, of New Brighton, passed away Saturday October 1, 2011 at Cranberry Place.
Born October 17, 1927 in Fallston, she was the daughter of the late Kazimir and Frances (Gezic) Borkovic. Sarah was a member of the Holy Family R.C. Church, New Brighton, Christian Mothers, and was retired from Westinghouse.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Ferketich, and a sister, Frances Laich.
Surviving are a son, Paul Ferketich, New Brighton, and a nephew Dennis Laich, Columbus OH.
Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the J & J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Ave, New Brighton. Prayers will be held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home, followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in the Holy Family R.C. Church, New Brighton. Rev. Fr. Tom Kredel, officiating.
Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Beaver Falls.
