Scott T. Sheets, 54, of New Brighton, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at Allegheny General Hospital.
Born March 27, 1962, in New Brighton, a son of the late Paul O. and Patricia (Carr) Sheets. He had worked at many mills around the Beaver Valley and was recently well known for his love of scrapping. He was a member of the Marion Hill Christian & Missionary Alliance Church.
Surviving are his wife, Nancy (Cardosi) Sheets; their sons, Cody Scott Sheets, New Brighton and Joshua Campbell, Butler; daughter, Jessica (Todd) McEntire, New Brighton; two grandchildren, Alexa and Ali; sister, Dawn Patton and Mark Stiggi, New Brighton; brother, Gregg (Donna) Sheets, Levittown; brothers-in-law, Greg (Tammy) Cardosi and Rob (Kelly) Cardosi; sisters-in-law, Donna (Jim) Goda and Janet (Brent) Smith; uncles, Jim (Susie) Carr and Ron Sheets; aunt, Mary Glabb, and many cousins, nieces, nephews and their families.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Ed and Kitty Carr; paternal grandparents, Paul and Bertha Sheets, and three uncles, Tom, Bob and Ed Carr.
There will be no viewing. A memorial service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the Marion Hill Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, 4607 Rochester Rd., New Brighton, with the Rev. James Krouse officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorials in Scott's name be made to the funeral home.
