Sondra L. (Weber) Newhouse

Sondra L. Newhouse, 73, from New Brighton PA passed on March 06, 2022, from complications due to Lung Cancer. She was born to Walter Weber and Minnie McLaughlin on November 26, 1948.

She was preceded in death by her husband Frederick Newhouse, son Richard L Ruffner and both parents. She most recently lived in New Brighton, Pennsylvania. Sondra is survived by her remaining 3 children: William L Ruffner III (Sonya Miller), Samuel D Ruffner (Pamela J Ruffner), Daniel B Ruffner, 5 grandchildren; Ricky, Tiffany, Dawson, Cole, And Kaylee, and 5 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her 2 loving sisters: Linda Sullivan, Karen Harshman with many other relatives and friends to list.

Sondra graduated from Beaver Falls Sr high school in 1966 and received her LPN/RN degrees from the Community College of Beaver County.

Sondra worked as a Nursing professional (RN) and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people. She was an active Christian who loved helping people. She truly loved her family and her work in the nursing field.

A celebration of life event is being planned for this summer. As Sondra was an active contributor to the American Cancer Society, PBS and the USO, the family requests donations in Sondra's name in lieu of flowers, if you feel inspired to do so.
