Susie Ann (Fisher) Ramsey, 79, of New Brighton, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2017, at Good Samaritan Hospice.
Born May 3, 1937, she was the daughter of William and Esther Fisher of Baden. She was an active member of Rochester Free Methodist Church and had been a member of the praise team. She had once been a member of First Presbyterian Church, Rochester, where she was a Sunday School teacher for many years. She and her husband owned and operated Valley Refrigeration, Inc. in New Brighton.
Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan Ramsey; two brothers, Thomas and William Fisher, and a sister, Laney Snyder.
Surviving are three sons, Timothy Ramsey, New Brighton; Matthew Ramsey, Brighton Township, and Thomas Ramsey and his wife, Deborah, and her beloved grandsons, Jacob and Nolan, all of New Brighton. She is also survived by her furry canine companion, Ruby.
Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com. On Tuesday, friends will be received from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. in the Rochester Free Methodist Church, 480 Jefferson Street, Rochester, with Pastor Mel McRoberts officiating
Private interment will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery, Freedom.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Rochester Free Methodist Building Fund.
