Sylvia L. O'Neill

Sylvia Lee O’Neill, 87, of New Brighton, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2021, at home.

She was born, October 25, 1933 in Westview, PA.  She retired from Beaver Falls School District where she worked in the administration office.  She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, who made her family her life.  Always attending her grandchildren’s sporting events, in any weather.  She will be remembered as a good cook, with her specialty being pies.  She enjoyed playing cards and Pirates games.

She leaves behind to keep her memory a son, Jeffrey (Janice) O’Neill, Tucson AZ., and a daughter, Judy (Randy) Reese, New Brighton.  She was an amazing Grandmother to her grandchildren, Kevin, Tyler, and Cody Reese, Yvonne and Nichole O’Neill, and Janelle Fredrickson.  She was also a Great Grandmother to Laura Fredrickson.  Also brother-in-law, Alex Morgan from Dayton, OH.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Dale Lengyel, and sister, Norma Morgan.

Friends will be received Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm in J & J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Ave, New Brighton.  A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10am, with Pastor Donald MacNeil, officiating.

Private interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, New Brighton.

The family would like to thank Carol, Candice, and Carrie from  Grane Hospice and Janet Miller for their passionate and loving  care of Sylvia.
