Theodore “Ted” J. Martin, 94, of Beaver, passed away Friday, March 14, 2025, at Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford. Born November 26, 1930, in Pittsburgh, Pa., he is the son of the late Charles and Marie (Davis) Martin.  Ted was a proud graduate of North Catholic High School. He worked at Mellon Bank for 35 years, where he served as an operations manager, gaining respect for his professionalism, work ethic, and leadership. Outside of his professional life, Ted was an avid golfer, loved reading and crossword puzzles. He was also a lover of travel, finding great joy in his vacations to Hawaii and Picton, Ontario, where he spent many relaxing days with his wife and family, surrounded by the beauty of nature. Ted’s greatest joy in life, however, was his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, always putting the needs of his loved ones first. He cherished the time spent with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, offering wisdom, laughter, and endless love. His deep bond with his family was the cornerstone of his life. In his later years, Ted embraced technology with enthusiasm, becoming a technically savvy senior citizen. He was an inspiration to all who knew him, always eager to learn and grow, no matter his age. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Ann (Barnes) Martin, daughter, Linda Kopicko, two brothers, Charles and William Martin, sister, Carroll Mihlfried, and daughter-in-law, Karen Andrasko. Ted is survived by one son William (Katrina) Andrasko, Nolensville, TN, four daughters Laurie (Gilbert) Villanueva, Pittsburgh, Marcie (David) Hough, Chesapeake, VA, Kellie (William) Disario, Cape Coral, FL, and Betsy (Douglas) Kopicko, Beaver, one son-in-law John Kopicko, Bellevue, 12 grandchildren John Scott (Susan) Kopicko, William (Lisa) Andrasko, Robert (Lauren) Kopicko, Jason (Kodi) Andrasko, Jaimie (Justin) Dzelzkalns, Sarah (Evan) Disario, Ada Villanueva, Andrew Disario, Evan Villanueva, Justin Kopicko, Ethan Kopicko and Rachel Kopicko, 9 great grandchildren, his sisters Eleanor Martin, Jean Babowal, and Lois Martin, several nieces, nephews and their families.
