Thomas "Buck" Sainer, 52, of New Brighton, passed away Friday, January 6, 2017, at his home after a battle with cancer.
He was born January 13, 1964, in Beaver Falls, a son of Ann (Kinney) Sainer of New Brighton and the late Larry Lee Sainer, who passed on November 27, 2013. He was a peacetime veteran of U.S. Army. He had been a driver for the American Red Cross and was a member of the United Croatian Club and Holy Family Catholic Church, both of New Brighton.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 22 years, Edie (Fry) Sainer; two sons, Addam (Christine) Fry, Franklinville, N.C., and Andrew Murphy, New Brighton; one grandson, Jayden Price; three sisters, Cindy (Jeff) Oliver and Patty (Joe) Greco, both of New Brighton, and Faye (Jake) Vincik, Beaver Falls; several nieces and nephews and their families, and his faithful dog, "Diablo."
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by in-laws, Kenneth and Lue Fry.
There will be no viewing.
A memorial visitation will be held Tuesday, January 10, 2017, at the Church of the Nazarene, 417 Penn Ave., New Brighton, from 5 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Holy Family Catholic Church, with Rev. Father Tom Kredel officiating.
Inurnment will take place in the Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Washington, Pa.
