Timothy A. Belkowski

Timothy A. Belkowski, 66, of New Brighton, passed away in his home Thursday, December 7, 2023, after a long battle with lung cancer.

Born March 12, 1957, in New Brighton, he was the son of the late Eugene and Mary (Hunter) Belkowski.  Tim was a graduate of New Brighton High School, Class of 1975. He recently retired, after many years working as a grinder at Damascus Steel in New Brighton.

He was preceded in death by his three brothers, Carl (Catz), Richard, and Michael Belkowski; his nephew, Brian Belkowski; and his grandson, Micah Short.

His sister, Beverly Belkowski, still resides in Pittsburgh.

Also surviving Tim are his former wife, Gina (Nye) Belkowski; two stepchildren, Tony and Cherish Short, Leslie and Darrin Paulovich; six grandchildren, Destiney, Serenity, Chance, and Harmony Short, and Theo and Will Paulovich; one great-grandson, Grayson Keener; and many cousins. He also had many nieces and nephews: Joanne (Smith), Chelsea (Frankhouser), Carly (Tan), Shawna (Gerson), Danielle (Dawn), Mark Belkowski, Bob Belkowski and Dan Belkowski.

Tim will be remembered as a kind and gentle guy who loved music and, of course, his cats.

Per Tim’s wishes there will be no services at this time.

A celebration of Tim’s life will be held at a future date to be determined. Family and friends will be notified.
