Virginia N. (Curcio) Brenner

Virginia N. (Curcio) Pullion Brenner, 96, of New Brighton, passed away Thursday September 9, 2021 peacefully in her sleep at her home.

Born June 9, 1925 in New Brighton the daughter of the late Ernest and Angelina (Ponterie) Curcio. She retired from the former Westinghouse Electric Corp., where she worked 23 years as a tester. She had also worked for Mayer China for 20 years. She was a member of the Life Family Church of New Brighton. Virginia loved to travel to special places like Italy, England, Hawaii and Alaska, but New Brighton was always home.

In addition to her mother and father she was preceded in death by one son Gus Brenner, one sister Nancy Curcio and two brothers Chick and Gus Curcio.

Survived by one son and his wife Frank and Christine Brenner, Randolph, NJ, one daughter and her husband Georgia and Tom Hudzik, Rowlett, TX, eleven grandchildren Kelsey (Brian) Webb, Nicholas Brenner, Joseph Brenner, Tommy (Brittany) Hudzik, Michael (Vivian) Hudzik, Lauren Hudzik, Anthony Hudzik and Alisa Hudzik, Josh, Landy Charlie, Jeremy, Ben and Maria Brenner, great granddaughter Haley Ann Webb, two sisters Nettie Papa, Beaver, Kate Hoey, New Brighton, several nieces, nephews and their families, including those special to her Gary Papa, Cheryl Newbold, Bobby Hoey and Angela Weber and a special thanks to her wonderful caregiver Linda Hoey.

There will be no viewing. A memorial visitation will be held Wednesday from 10:00am until time of memorial service at 11:00am in the J&J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Avenue, New Brighton with the Rev. Sam DeMarco officiating.

Private inurnment will take place in Grove Cemetery, New Brighton.

In lieu of flowers the family wish memorials be made in her name to either The Wounded Warriors Foundation or St. Jude’s Children’s HospitaL
