Walter L. 'Walt' Kochman
NEW BRIGHTON
Walter L. Kochman, 70, of New Brighton, passed quietly into the arms of the Angels Friday, May 30, 2014, at Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver, with his wife by his side.
Born November 26, 1943, in Wilkinsburg, Pa., he was the son of the late Romey and Helen (Wrobel) Kochman. Walt loved his family, the outdoors, playing golf and dancing. He was a member of Christ Church at Grove Farm, Sewickley. Walt had worked as a car salesman at several local car dealerships until his retirement.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-son, Brian Rae.
Surviving are his wife, Joanne Rae (Giambrone) Kochman; a step-daughter, Amy Rae and her fiancé Scott Liberty, Medina, Ohio; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Roger and Louisa Kochman, Upper Darby, PA and Stephen and Diana Kochman, Point Bluff, TX; one sister and brother-in-law, Victoria and Bill Jenckes, Wyomissing, PA; two grandchildren, Nicholas and Madison Butrey; his dog, Jake, and several nieces, nephews and their families.
A Private family service was conducted Monday at J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com, by the Rev. Barry Mariana.
Private interment took place in Grove Cemetery, New Brighton.

The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and assistants on third floor D as they cared for Walt. A special thank you to Good Samaritan Hospice nurses and staff as they lovingly cared for him in his final hours.
