Walter Leroy Woods
August 29, 1963 — July 7, 2015
Walter LeRoy Woods, 51, of Freedom, formerly of Beaver Falls, passed away Tuesday July 7, 2015 at Heritage Valley Beaver.
Born August 29, 1963 he was the son of the late Homer and Ruth (Schriner) Woods. Walter was a member of the Rochester Free Methodist Church, and a cook at the North Park Lounge in Cranberry.
Surviving are one son, LeRoy Woods, New Brighton, two sisters Renee (Andy) Goldinger, Rochester, Cheryl (Joe) Mizenko, New Brighton, two grandchildren, Blake and Abby; his extended family the Goldinger’s and the Hunter’s, best-friend, John Hunter, and “adopted mother” Pauline Hunter, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents Walter was also preceded in death by his niece Andrea Goldinger.
Friends will be received Saturday July 11, 2015 from 12 to 2pm at the Rochester Free Methodist Church, 480 Jefferson St. Rochester, PA 15074, until the time of the memorial service at 2pm, with the Pastor Robert Singleton officiating.
Services have been entrusted to J & J Spratt Funeral Home, Inc., 1612 3rd Ave. New Brighton, PA 15066.
