Will Henry Hudson

Will Henry Hudson, 83, of New Brighton, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2013, at Heritage Valley Beaver.

Born March 5, 1930, in Oglethorpe, Georgia, a son of the late John and Annie Mae (Finch) Hudson. He  retired from the former Westinghouse Electric Corp. of Vanport where he was a milling machine operator with 35 years of service. He was a known as Henry the barber in the area for many years. He was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church, Beaver Falls, where he was a former trustee and usher for many years. Henry was also an avid Steelers and Pirates Fan.

Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, Phyllis and Morris Griffin, Cincinnati, OH; Adrienne Weathers, New Brighton; a daughter-in-law, Ella Hudson, Aliquippa; seven grandchildren, Brandi and Gerald Hudson, Noelle, Gregary and  Nathan Griffin, Donnie, Lauren, Chris and Steven Weathers; three great-grandsons, Jacen and Dontae Weathers and Malik Griffin; one brother, Clifford Hudson, New Brighton; one sister and her husband, Catherine and Fred Denson, Webster, NY; his former wife, Betty Jane Hudson, New Brighton; a good friend, Evangeline English, NC, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Gerald H. Hudson and William "Pete" Hudson; a son-in-law, Donald L. Weathers Sr.; six sisters and three brothers.

Viewing will be held Monday starting at 2 p.m. in the Tabernacle Baptist Church, 630 Third Avenue, Beaver Falls. The family will be present from 3 p.m. until time of  funeral service at 6 p.m. with the Rev. Dwight Banks, officiating.

Cremation will take place after the funeral.
