Wyanetta (Hendrickson) Dixon, 81, of New Brighton, passed away Sunday November 22, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver.
Born November 7, 1934 in Beaver Falls a daughter of the late W. Leroy and Bertha (Best) Hendrickson. She was a retired notary and had worked for the former Morrow Motors and Sahli’s Chevrolet in Beaver Falls. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene and was very active with the Wear Care Angles.
She was preceded in death by her husband Earl Dixon in 2006, two brothers Rev. Edward Hendrickson and Herbert Hendrickson.
Surviving are one daughter Lynne Ann Dixon, Brighton Twp., three sons and two daughters-in-law Bruce and Cindy Dixon, New Brighton, Glenn and Denise Dixon, Rogers, OH, Daniel Dixon, New Castle, six grandchildren Brett (Jackie)Dixon, Evan (Jaclyn)Dixon, Leann Dixon, Glenn Dixon Jr., Dustin Dixon and Justine Dixon, several great grandchildren, one sister-in-law Bertha Hendrickson, Ocala, FL, several nieces, nephews and their families,
Friends will be received Tuesday, November 24th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm in the J&J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Avenue, New Brighton. Wednesday, November 25th friends will be received at the Church of the Nazarene, 417 Penn Avenue, New Brighton from 10:00am until time of the funeral service at 11:00am with Rev. Donald W. MacNeil officiating.
Private interment will take place in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester.
In lieu of flowers the family wish memorials be made in her name to the Church of the Nazarene.
