Angel Marie Ikard

A beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, friend, and mother, Angel Marie Ikard, 41, of Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, unexpectantly went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 5, 2021.

Angel, most lovingly known as “Queen” by family and closest associates, was born on November 6, 1979 in Cleveland, Ohio, a daughter of Anthony Kevin and Joyce Louise Moore.  She attended New Brighton Area High School and went on to acquire several degrees throughout the years, completing her latest academic achievements with a bachelor’s degree in Human Relations.

As the second eldest child of five siblings, Angel was familiar with being a leader and most recognized for her resourcefulness and tenacity.  Notorious for her smile and contagious laughter, she was most distinguished for her ability to bring the light and joy to her surroundings regardless of the circumstances.  Angel will be remembered for the love she distributed and the time and effort she poured into anything that she gave her attention to.  Known best for her ability to provide and care for her loved ones, Angel’s affectionate attitude and thoughtful insight to situations will be missed most.

The relationship she had with her siblings is unmatched.  Displaying the features of her father and the strength, dedication, and hard work instilled by her mother, Angel embodied the very persona that most long for.  Through her generosity and giving approach, Angel has touched the lives of many leaving them with the feeling of being loved and cared for.  The rapport and bond she built with each family member, immediate and distant, will be nothing more important than the people we share our time with; remembering to nurture our relationships and keep our loved ones close as she always did.

Most of all, Angel adored being a mother and raising her son.  Welcoming her only child was her greatest honor and a sure confirmation that all the love and joy that she put into the universe was returning to her through his birth and connection they went on to develop.

Surviving, are her son Jumar Thompson, mother, Joyce, New Brighton, father, Anthony, Beaver Falls; brothers Anthony (wife Brooke) and Dante (companion Nikki Ruiz) Moore, New Brighton, and sisters Alexis Florence (husband Edward), Rochester, and Ny’Asia, Beaver Falls; nieces and nephews Aryyah, GiAnte, Arielle, Edgerrin, Devin, and Drew; along with a host of adored cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Blaine Hutcherson and Ruby Sevilla Tate Moore, as well as Samuel and Laura Elizabeth Ikard.

Friends will be received Saturday from 1-3pm, in the Light of Salvation Church, 3301 6th Ave, Beaver Falls, followed by a private family service, with Rev. Bobby Wilson officiating.
