Antionette Josephine Greco, 95, of New Brighton, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at Cambridge Village, Beaver Falls.
Born July 9, 1928, in Ellwood City, she was a daughter of the late Pietro and Rose (Italia) Vitullo. She was proud to be born and raised in Ellwood City. She was a member of Our Lady of the Valley, Holy Family Parish. Loyal to her family and friends, having taken many fun trips and outings with her crew. She will be remembered for gift wrapping at Kaufman’s, her mandatory Sunday dinners of spaghetti and meatballs, where the sauce was on before Mass, and more than anything she loved caring for her family, especially her grandkids.
Antionette is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Patty Greco, son-in-law, Edward Zidow, grandchildren, Ed Zidow, Steven Zidow, Leslie Huddy, Kelsey Humble, Gabe (Leah) Greco, great-grandchildren, Cameron, Chloe, Ruby and Herschel, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Joseph Greco, daughter, Sharyn Zidow, sisters, Lillian and Lena, and her brother Mauro Vitullo.
Friends will be received Friday from 9:30am until the time of prayers at 10:40am, in the J&J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 3rd Ave, New Brighton, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11am, in the Our Lady of the Valley, Holy Family Parish, 521 7th Ave, New Brighton, with Father Tom Kredel officiating.
The family wants to extend a special thanks the staff at Cambridge Village and Promedica Hospice for their compassionate care of Antionette.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Our Lady of The Valley/Bingo Fund, in memory of Antionette being such an avid Bingo player.
