Betty Ann (Barnes) Martin

Betty Ann (Barnes) Martin, 92, of Beaver, formally of Bellevue, passed away Monday May 9, 2022 at Good Samaritan Hospice Beaver.

Born September 29, 1929 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Clarence and Anna (Lindquist) Barnes. She was a retired RN, having worked at Verland Center in Sewickley. She loved family gatherings and traveling, she was also an amazing cook.

Survived by her husband of 56 years, Theodore J. Martin, one son William (Karen) Andrasko, Nolensville, TN, four daughters Laurie (Gilbert) Villanueva, Pittsburgh, Marcie (David) Hough, Virginia Beach, VA, Kellie (William) Disario, Baraboo, WI, and Betsy (Douglas) Kopicko, Beaver, one son-in-law John Kopicko, Bellevue, 12 grandchildren John Scott (Susan) Kopicko, William (Lisa) Andrasko, Robert (Lauren) Kopicko, Jason (Kodi) Andrasko, Jaimie (Justin) Dzelzkalns, Sarah (Evan) Disario, Adam (Nicolette) Villanueva, Andrew Disario, Evan Villanueva, Justin Kopicko, Ethan Kopicko and Rachel Kopicko, 8 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and their families, and beloved canine companion “Jake.”

In addition to her mother and father she was preceded in death by her daughter Linda Kopicko, one brother and sister-in-law James and Shirley Barnes.

There will be no viewing, The family will receive friends Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until time of Celebration of Life at 1:00 p.m. at the J&J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Avenue, New Brighton.

In lieu of flowers the family wishes memorials be made in her name to the Twelve Loaves Soup Kitchen, 1031 2nd Avenue, New Brighton PA, 15066.
