Betty Marie Zechman Auman

Betty Marie Zechman Auman passed away on Thursday, October 5th, 2023 leaving behind a legacy of homespun kindness, caretaking and noodle making.  She was a beloved Grandma and Great-Grandma. She was a sweet and spunky friend. She was a doting mom. And she was absolutely endearing to all who knew her. Her life started in central Pennsylvania on May 10th 1936 and in recent months - as some memories began to fade - those earliest memories…full of brothers, sisters, and “mum and daddy” remained as strong as ever. She spoke of the reunion they would all have when “it was her time to go”.  She has found her rest.

Betty joins those who went before her including her parents, Charles and Florence (Snyder) Zechman, 6 brothers and 2 sisters.

She will be so missed by those who survive her including: her sons, Mark Auman (wife Marcy Auman) and Doug Auman (partner Lori Glass); 5 grandchildren Kyle (husband Stephen), Hanna, Samantha, Mason & Jesse Auman; and 2 great grandchildren: Kymere and Maleah Auman.

Visitation will be at J&J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Ave, New Brighton on Wednesday October 11th from 4:00pm – 7:00pm.
