Bruce Edward Yeager Sr.

Bruce Edward Yeager Sr, 67, of New Brighton, PA passed away on January 28, 2023, surrounded by his loved ones. 

Bruce was born June 14, 1955, in New Brighton, PA. Bruce graduated from Montclair High School in Montclair, CA in 1972 and returned to New Brighton, PA shortly after where he lived out the rest of his life. 

Bruce followed in his father’s footsteps and began working as an appliance repairman for Sear’s prior to retiring while the family business, Yeager’s Appliance Repair, served the community for 40 years. 

Bruce had a passion for automobiles, specifically his 1962 Chevrolet Impala SS that he bought in high school and has owned for 50 years. Starting with winning trophies for racing his soap box derby car down the main street of Beaver Falls as a child to working for CART (IndyCar racing series) at nearby racetracks during the racing seasons, Bruce surrounded himself with his passions. 

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Gloria Yeager.

He is survived by the love of his life for over 14 years Michele Bailor; children, Kristel Yeager, Bruce (Brenna) Yeager Jr, Leah Nagel, Jonathon (Emily) Held; grandchildren Kaelyn Bailey, Bruce Yeager III, Brynn Yeager, Nalayna Nagel, and Zophia Nagel; brother, Charles “Jack” Yeager; sister, Kim Gass.

Friends and family will be received Friday, February 3, 2023, from 3 p.m. until time of service at 5:30 p.m. in J & J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Ave, New Brighton.  Pastor Donald W. MacNeil, officiating.

 A reception will be held following all funeral home services at the Unionville American Legion Post 512, 1341 Route 68, Rochester, PA 15074.
