Carl E. Wurzel, 82, of North Sewickley, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver.
Born January 14, 1939, in New Brighton, he was the only child of the late Edward H. and Marie (Rowan) Wurzel Jr. He retired from Republic Steel as a die maker after 40 years of service. Carl was a lifetime member of North Sewickley Township Volunteer Fire Department, retiring as assistant chief. He was a member of Concord United Methodist Church. In retirement he enjoyed woodworking and golfing. Carl loved his family, especially his grandchildren and grand-dogs.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Noreen (Fulton) Wurzel, daughters and sons-in-law, Cheri (Rob) Eller, Lauri (George) Johnson, and Sondra (Lorne) Senior; grandchildren, Justin Eller, Kayla Eller, Joshua Johnson, Jonathan Johnson, Joseph Johnson, and Brandi Senior; five great-grandchildren, and his special cousin Marsha Bischoff.
Friends will be received Sunday from 4pm to 6pm and Monday from 10am until the time of the funeral service at 11am, in the Concord United Methodist Church, 285 Concord Church Rd., Beaver Falls, with Pastor John Phipps officiating.
The family would like to thank the staff of Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver for their loving care of Carl.
