In loving memory of our mother, Carol Sue Keysor, who passed away peacefully on Tuesday November 7, 2023, after a brief illness. She was born on March 25, 1948, in Sandusky, Ohio to her loving parents Jesse and Ollie Church. Sue attended Berlin Heights High School before she began building her family.
She was the devoted wife of Russell E. Keysor I and loving mother to Russell E. Keysor II, Jeffrey W. Keysor, Timothy L. Keysor, and Angela S. (Keysor) Boozer. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Sue loved to cook, bake, and loved having her grandchildren over. She loved birds, collecting teddy bears, and site seeing at state parks. She loved music whether it ranged from classic rock to country music. She loved Christmas and Thanksgiving because it brought families together. She shared her love of baking and cooking with her children and her grandchildren. For many years she worked in different factory positions, but her passion was being a stay-at-home mom to her four children. Occasionally, there were stray children that were brought home from time to time. She was a mother to them as well, when no one else was. Sue loved everyone she encountered and saw the best in them. Our Mother was a kind, caring and giving person, who always put the needs of her family before her own. She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage and dignity. Our Mother was the source of inspiration to us all and will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched. Growing up, our Mother was always there for us, whether we needed help with homework or just a shoulder to cry on. She was a woman of strong faith, and instilled the importance of family, hard work, and doing what is right. Our mother was a true role model who we will always look up to.
She is survived by her Husband of 52 years, Russell E. Keysor I of Norwalk Ohio; children, Russell & Carla Keysor of New Brighton, Pennsylvania, Jeffrey Keysor of Tiffin, Ohio, Timothy Keysor of Plymouth, Ohio, and Marcus and Angela (Keysor) Boozer of Norwalk, Ohio; Brothers & Sisters, Jack Church, Dean & Evelyn Church, Joseph & Barb Church and Michael Church, Dale & Frances (Church) Houghtlen, Pamela Ward, Sharon Church, and Nancy Tovo; 30 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
