David Scott Gordon
David Scott Gordon, 48, of New Brighton, passed away unexpectedly on September 3, 2014 at Heritage Valley Beaver.
Born January 14, 1966 in Beaver Falls, a son of Carol (Temple) Gordon of Beaver Falls and the late David S. Gordon Sr., he was an avid Steelers fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR racer, Jeff Gordon. David enjoyed listening to music, was kind hearted and cared for his family and friends.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his stepfather, John Mendenhall; his sister and brother-in-law, Shelia and John Goldinger; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Tony and Anna Gordon, Mark Gordon and Carrie Mangano; one daughter and son-in-law, Farrah and Sean Gima; two sons, Jason and Evan Gordon; one grandson, Gabriel Harrigan; nieces, Autumn, Brandy, Kristen, Samantha and Taylor, and great nieces and nephews, Rylee, Ellie, Tanner and Harley. There are many others who considered him an uncle, brother and great friend. He will be missed by many.
There will be no viewing. The family will receive friends Saturday from 9 a.m. until time of memorial service at 10 a.m. in the Church of the Nazarene, 423 Penn Avenue, New Brighton, with Rev. Donald W. MacNeil officiating.
Arrangements are by the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, New Brighton.
