Donald Edward Forsman, 69, of New Brighton, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2021 in Pittsburgh.
Born April 29, 1952, in Bellevue, he was a son of Shirley Ann (Butler) Andrews and the late Donald Samuel Forsman. He was retired from the US Navy. He volunteered at hospitals with a group known as “The Cooties.” He was a member of the Rochester VFW and was a former Commander of the VFW of Springfield, Oregon. He was a “fix-it-man” who loved to work on things.
He is survived by his wife Carol, children, Deanna (Tsu Wang) Forsman, Gina (Jeff) Kuhlman, Jeffrey Forsman, and Katrina Ward, sisters, Barb Forsman, Chris (John) Capps, brothers, Ken and Allen Forsman, and nine grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 11am in the Rochester Fellowship Chapel, 264 Adams St. Rochester, with Pastor Glenn Lester officiating, followed by lunch.
