Ethel Delores (Washington) Martin

Ethel Deloris Washington Martin,65, of Monaca, PA, formerly of Tabor City, NC, passed away Friday May 8, 2020, at home. Born August 8,1954, in Lumberton, NC, she was a daughter of the late Jake and Annie Brown. She was a former member of Union Mission Baptist Church, South Carolina.

When she moved to New Mexico, She became a member of Unity Fellowship Church, New Mexico, where she served as a Pastor, MOTHER of the church and Church Clerk, for 9 years.

She was above all a loving mother who put her kids first.  She was a hard worker who loved cooking for and welcoming everyone.  To know her you had to love her. She will be remembered for her big heart and being loved by all she met.

She is survived by her daughters, Teresa Alfonso(Kirk Alfonso), Sabrina Alford, Almelia Alford, and Beannder Alford(Deanna), Sons, Frederick Martin(Amanda Martin), Michael Martin, Travers Neil Martin (Leslie Martin), Dirk Martin(Regina Martin), James Alford Jr(PJ); Longtime Life partner James Alford, Sister, Sarah Owens-Johnson, Brother Samuel Owens and numerous grandchildren that she loved like her own, and a host of nieces and nephews. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Clyde Owens Jr. (Junior) and her sister Lillian Smith. A private memorial service will be held. Arrangements have been entrusted to J &J Spratt Funeral Home Inc.
