Frances Jean Palmer has now gone home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 24, 2022, surrounded by her loving family that were caring for her. She had passed away at her daughter’s home, Deborah Murray, who cared for her the last few years.
Born November 30, 1934, in McDonald, Pa., she is the daughter of the late Victor and Anna (Dragnet) Pershina. She had a lifelong gift for making exceptional meals for family and friends and whoever came to her house. She loved taking care of people that were distressed and had a big heart.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie E. Palmer; twin daughters, Mary and Margaret Palmer; sister, Cathy Orr.
Surviving are three daughters, Deborah Palmer Murray and (Rick Moore) of Leetsdale, Pa; Donna Walters and Leslie (Robert) Eiler, both of New Brighton; grandchildren, Erica Walters Knox (Buddy), Dr. Zachary Walters, Levi Eiler, Keith Eiler (Ashley Lyman), Evan Eiler (Kate Hilman); great grandchildren, Deante’ Bradley, Erica Bradley, Karly Knox, Samuel, Lina, Arliss, Rex and Layla Eiler; three sisters, Betsy Foley, her twin Dorothy See, and Barbara Gedman; sister-in-law, Irene (Lyle) Peluso; several nieces, nephews, and their families.
Friends will be received Sunday, October 30, 2022, from 2 p.m. until 7 pm. in J & J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Ave, New Brighton. Additional viewing will be held on Monday from 10 a.m. until time of funeral at 11:00 in the funeral home. Pastor Michael Coleman, officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Edgewood Church, 430 Edgewood Road, Beaver Falls, Pa 15010 or the Beaver Falls Salvation Army, 414 16th Street, Beaver Falls, Pa 15010.
Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Daugherty Twp.
