Obituary

Garry Lynn Skidmore, 67, of New Brighton passed away Sunday, April 2, 2023, at Brighton Rehab and Wellness Center, Beaver.

Born December 6, 1955, in Aliquippa, he was a son of the late Howard and Eleanor (Fatkin) Skidmore.  He was a carpet installer by trade, as well as a carpenter, who was known for making custom sports signs.  He enjoyed fishing and playing softball.  He was a member of the New Brighton Eagles, and had many friends.  He will now join his lifelong companion, Christine Book.

Surviving is one sister, Beverly Starr, two step-sons, Larry Sayre, John (Rachel) Book, grandchildren, Johnathan Sayre, Ashly Sayre, Trey Book, Charleigh Book, and Greyson Book, and nephew, Nathan Starr.

Preceding him in death were his parents, longtime companion, Christine Book, and his brother, William Skidmore.
