James A. Battaglia, 57, of New Brighton, passed away Monday, December 20, 2021 at Heritage Valley Beaver.
Born June 22, 1964 in New Brighton, a son of the late Joseph and Dolores (Santodonato) Battaglia. Jim was a shipping/receiving manager for Tenova Core. He was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Parish and an avid, active member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church. He was a member of the Rochester Quarterback Club and was a P.I.A.A. Umpire.
Survived by his wife Kelly J. (Burket) Battaglia, who he married July 16, 1988, two sons James (Erika) Battaglia, Monaca, Jesse (Katie) Battaglia, Brookline, one daughter Kelsey Battaglia, New Brighton, two grandchildren Mila and Roman Battaglia, two brothers Joseph (Donna) Battaglia, Kennedy Twp., John (Debbie) Battaglia, Chippewa Twp., three nephews Joey (Brigit) Battaglia, Vince (Kristen) Battaglia, Johnny (Lauren) Battaglia, one niece Heather Battaglia and their families.
Friends and family will be received Wednesday, December 22, from 3:00pm to 8:00pm in the J&J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Avenue, New Brighton, where prayer will be held Thursday, December 23, at 9:30am followed by Mass of Christian burial at 10:00am in St. Cecilia Catholic Church.
Cremation will take place after the mass.
