his family’s funeral home.
In addition to his parents, Dan was preceded in death by a son, J. Dylan Spratt, 2016.
Survived by Richael Spratt and their children Zack (Leah) Spratt, Jacob (Amanda) Spratt. Also,
Gracilee Spratt, Noah Brown; five siblings; J. Michael (Karen) Spratt, Center Twp, Margaret

Dan will be forever remembered by the community that he passionately served. He has
touched the lives of all in Beaver Valley at some of their worst times. He had a way of
comforting people through their grief and making all feel like family. Dan has always been a
man, that would give you the shirt off his back and was not able to say no. He was referred to as
Jay, Danny, JJ, Daddy J, and Pop. He was involved in the community planning events and holiday
parades. He remained an avid Steelers fan, his favorite holiday was always St. Patrick’s Day, and
was a shark on the pool table. Dan spent most of his free time with his mother, who many
would consider his best friend.
Friends will be received from 1pm until 8pm Tuesday, where a blessing service will be held Wednesday
at 10am, in J & J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Ave, New Brighton, with Fr. Howard Campbell
and Pastor Donald MacNeil officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested monetary donations for a trust fund to provide for
his daughter, Gracie’s, future wishes. Contributions can be sent to JJ Spratt Funeral Home.
