Joanne Kay (Witkouski) Stanko

Joanne Stanko, 77, of Beaver Falls, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2019 at Rochester Manor.

Born April 27, 1942 in Rochester, Pa., she is the daughter of the late Eugene and Mary (Knopp) Witkouski.  Joanne attended First Presbyterian Church, Beaver Falls and was Past President of the New Brighton football mothers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Stanko; brother, Bill; and sister, Judy Shearer.

Surviving are her children, Kent (Jonalyn) McDermott, New Brighton, Kellie Jo (Robert) Lewis, Minot, N.D., Marikaye (Stanko) Pond, Richmond, VA, five grandchildren, John and James Pond, Hannah Jo Lewis, Delaney and Noah McDermott, three great grandchildren, Mylah, Titan and Thaddeus.

Friends will be received Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. in the First Presbyterian Church, 1103 8th Ave, Beaver Falls, with Pastor Judy Angleberger, officiating.

Private inurnment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Beaver Falls.

Memorial contributions may be mand in her name to First Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund, 1103 8th Ave, Beaver Falls, Pa 15010.
