John W. Drzik, 66, of New Galilee passed away unexpectedly Tuesday August 18, 2020 at Heritage Valley Beaver in the emergency room.
Born January 23, 1954 in Philadelphia a son of the late Rev. John E. and Ruth (Nikodem) Drzik. He was bridge and highway inspector SAI Consulting. He was a longtime drummer for various bands in the area and a dedicated baseball and football fan. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Ellwood City.
Surviving are his wife Theresa (Geyer) Drzik whom he married June 27, 1987, two sons John W. Drzik Jr. and Matthew J. Drzik, all of New Galilee, two brothers James Drzik, NYC, Daniel Drzik, Dormont, one sister Diane O’Conner, Boynton Beach, FL, numerous nieces, nephews and their families.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister-in-law Janice Drzik.
Friends will be received Monday from 1:00pm to 3:00pm and 5:00pm until time of funeral service at 7:00pm in the J&J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Avenue, New Brighton. The Rev. Kim Rapczak and Rev. Peggy Shur-Barkley will officiate.
Private interment will take place in Allegheny Cemetery, Pittsburgh.
