Joye Lucarelli, 84, of New Brighton, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at Rochester Manor.
Born December 24, 1938, in New Brighton, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Linney (Boggs) Foehringer. She was the owner operator of the former Lucarelli Kennels, where she groomed and boarded dogs, before retiring in 2012. She loved animals very much. She was a member of the Beaver County Kennel Club, and raised national champion dogs. “Miss Joye” was a Christian by faith having attended various churches, including the former Fifth Avenue Methodist Church and more recently the former Wayman Chapel A.M.E.
Surviving is her son, Jay Lucarelli (Cathleen), grandson, Thomas (Brittany) Lucarelli, and great-grandson, Damon Lucarelli, and numerous relatives and friends.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Edward and Craig Foehringer.
Friends will be received Saturday, September 9, from 2pm until the time of the Memorial Service at 4pm, in the J&J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 3rd Ave, New Brighton, with Pastor Rich Alam officiating.
