Judy C. (Tatum) Love 70, of New Brighton, passed suddenly April 1, 2021 at Encompass Health Sewickley.
Born October 24, 1950 in Rochester a daughter of the late Willie Owens and Dorothy (Roberson) Tatum. She was retired from the Housing Authority of the County of Beaver where she was the Administrative Assistant for the Weatherization program. She was devoted to her family and friends and always kind to everyone she would meet.
Surviving are her two children son, Cory (Cortney) Love, Baden, daughter Joan “Chrissy’ Love and her companion Joseph Free, Rochester, her devoted friend of 22 years Jeffrey Dillingham, New Brighton, two brothers James (Petreace) Tatum, Georgia, Willie (Marsha) Ellison, Rochester, four sisters Ireatha Dillard, Rochester, Donna (Donald) Joyner, Maryland, Regina Owens, Washington D.C., Tammy Smith, West Virginia, one sister-in-law Jean Matthews, Pontiac, MI and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers William Tatum, Leon Matthews, George Owens and one sister Barbara Ferguson.
Friends will be received Wednesday from 4:00pm to 7:00pm in the J&J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Avenue, New Brighton and Thursday from 10:00am until time of homegoing service at 11:00am with her nephew the Rev. Lenny Matthews officiating.
Cremation will take place after the funeral.
