Karen M. Haaf

Karen M. Haaf, 57, of New Brighton, passed away Wednesday December 30, 2020 at home with her family at her side.

Born August 1, 1963 in New Brighton a daughter of the late Robert C. and Annmarie (Pickles) Herman. She was a lab technician at Heritage Valley Beaver for 26 years. Karen enjoyed gardening, motorcycle rides and all animals. She was a devoted mother to her children and best memaw to her grandchildren.

Surviving are her loving companion of twenty-seven years Mark Sayre, one son Robert C. Haaf and his fiancé Alyssa Graham, Rochester, daughter Danielle Haaf and her fiancé David Zilk, New Brighton, Mark’s children Amanda (Evan) Morgan, Heather (Mike) Dubois, Brandon (Cassie) Thompson, all of New Brighton, seven grandchildren Serenity, Jessie, Maria, Samiyah, Mckenzie, Alessa and Brandon, her beloved canine companion “Bella”, several more family members and friends.

Friends will be received Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 in the J&J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Avenue, New Brighton and Tuesday from 10:00am until time of funeral service at 11:00am with Rev. Donald W. MacNeil officiating.

CDC guidelines of masks and social distancing will be followed at all services.

Private internment will take place Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester.

In lieu of flowers the family wish memorials be made in her name to the funeral home.
