Leon Smith Jr. Obituary

John 20:23 Who so ever sin ye forgive that are forgiven unto them.  Genesis 3:19 For dust thou art and unto dust thou shall return.  Leon entered eternal rest.  Heb 4:3 on Wednesday March 8, 2023, at Heritage Valley Hospital, Beaver, Pa.

He leaves behind to mourn his passing two remarkable daughters, Miling Gabriel, Ka’tee Anna and a wife called Kathy.

Preceding the death of Leon Smith into the kingdom with the hope of seeing the Lord our God face to face was an awesome loving son called Clay Anthony Gordon.

We the family of Leon Smith first giving all honor and praise to the almighty Lord thy God would like to extend special love ana appreciation to the members of St. Cecilia Catholic Church who held the entirety of this family close.  We also acknowledge Heritage Valley Hospital for your kind, sensitive, caring way, the extended family members of the community, friends, local and far-reaching churches for their prayers.  We ask the Lord to bless you for your love.  We ask that any loving donations be made to the American Leprosy Missions, One Alm Way, Greenville, S.C. 29601.  Gifts of florals may be gifted to any nursing home, hospital, Baden Convent of your choice.  At this time of mourning the family of Leon Smith would like to request and thank you for privacy as we continue in peace and meditation during this season of lent.  For Leon a private prayer vigil will be observed at a later date in the state of Louisiana.  Honorable mention, Tommie Gordon, (Anna) Michael Gordon, Alice Vee, Cousin; Shirley of Texas and a dog name RAT.

Blessed be the Father, Son, and the goodness of the Holy Spirit. We give God the honor, praise, and the glory.  We thank you Lord for your Priesthood.  We thank you Lord for the Blood of Christ, most worthy of all glory and honor, save us, Lamb of God who taketh away the sins of the work, spare us.  O Lord, Lamb of God who taketh away the sins of the world graciously hear us, O lamb of God who taketh away the sins of the world, have mercy on us. O Lord thy God Almighty, Amen.
