Mary K. Frankland, 96, of North Sewickley Township, passed from this world on June 15, 2022. Mary grew up in Wellsville, Ohio, the daughter of Raymond and Lenora Flynn. She also resided in Koppel and Beaver, Pa.
Mary is survived by her sons, Michael (Christine) and David (Nancy); her grandchildren, Steven (Patience Gallagher) and Erin, and great granddaughter, June. She is also survived by a brother-in-law, Tom Hunter and sisters-in-law, Hannah Flynn, Carol Frankland, and Loretta Frankland, as well as numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, William, her sisters, Rose Hunter and Rita Stewart; brothers, Ed and Ray Flynn; brother-in-law, Jack Stewart, and nephews, Scott Flynn and Tommy Stewart.
Mary worked as a bank teller, a secretary in the offices at Ing-Rich, and as a Real Estate agent. She volunteered at local hospitals and was a den mother for Koppel Cub Scouts. She was proud of her Irish heritage.
As per her wishes, services will be private. She will be laid to rest in Beaver Cemetery beside her husband, William.
