Matthew Aaron Douglass, 50, of Harmony Twp., passed away Sunday, January 12, 2020.
Matthew was born July 30, 1969, in Rochester, Pa., the son of Suzanne Burris Douglass and the late Mark W. Douglass.
Matt was a 1988 graduate of New Brighton High School. He was currently employed as Store Support for Sheetz Corporate. Matt was previously employed by Medic Rescue, Economy Ambulance, Valley Ambulance, and The Fire Station Resources Center. He was a member of New Brighton Fire Department, Baden Fire Department, an original member of Medic Rescue Explorer Post, an original member of Beaver County Hazmat Team and Pittsburgh Metro FOOLS.
He is survived by his daughter, Alexis Campagna; three brothers, Mark A. Douglass, John D. Douglass and Todd (Lisa) Douglass; several nephews and nieces, Johnathon (Arly) Douglass, Mark E. Douglass, Ericka (Ryan) Houk, Ashley (Chris) McGaffin, Hannah Douglass, Alaina Douglass, Sage Douglass, Chase Douglass, Ansley Houk, Cayden Mcgaffin and Harrison Houk; close friend and former wife, Amy Douglass; lifelong friends, Lori Campagna, Rhonda Douglass and Sheldon(Kandi) Barron, along with all of his brothers and sisters in Public Safety.
In addition to his father, he was preceded by his beloved aunt, Anna Mary Douglass.
The family would like to extend an invitation to join them on Thursday, January 16th at 12 p.m. for a Celebration of Life at Baden Fire Department.
