Maureen (Alderson) Pasquale, 80, of Beaver Falls, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, July 1st surrounded by her family near and far.
Maureen was born July 15, 1942, in Beaver Falls to parents, George and Mary (Collins) Alderson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Ann and brother, Rev. George Alderson. She is survived by her husband, John Pasquale, son Rich (Mindy) of Zelienople and daughter, Mary Ann (Chad) Schweitzer of Big Beaver along with her beloved grandchildren Dominic, Maura, and Kara Pasquale, and Andrew, Adam, and Veronica Schweitzer
Maureen‘s greatest loves were the Lord and her family. She graduated from Mount Gallitzen high school in 1960 and married John in 1963. Although her primary job was a homemaker, she spent many hours in service to others at Saint Mary’s church and school, Saint Philomena church and school, and Quigley Catholic high school. She was happiest when spending time with her family, playing Candyland and Uno, or watching Pirate games and Hallmark movies. Her example of sacrifice, her love of Christ in the Eucharist, and her love of her family will make a lasting impression on all she knew.
Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. in J & J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Ave, New Brighton. Prayers will be held Saturday in the funeral home at 9:20 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Monica Church, St. Augustine Parish, 116 Thorndale Drive, Beaver Falls, Pa. Officiating are Fr. Francis Frazier and Fr. Kim J. Schreck.
Maureen will be laid to rest in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Beaver Falls.
